Well, not you personally. Time magazine, with a printed reflective cover, names web 2.0 participation as the defining force of the last 12 months. We couldn’t agree more.
Just like all those years ago, when mankind discovered that the earth was flat, technology and human networks are creating a ‘flat’, peer driven economy that facilitates a meaningful, efficient connection between buyer and seller.
Mintd was founded on the idea that no one lives in a bubble. People who make things want to buy things too, and after you’ve seen enough cool stuff almost everyone wants to have a go themselves.
Sure, some will be more successful than others, but thats not the point. By lowering the barriers to entry to market, we want everyone to have access to great stuff: to buy, sell, talk and make friends with people like them.
So we salute you, Time person of the year. 2007 is going to be huge!

Our Home page now shows random pickings from our products, lookbooks and store. We figured we needed to give more exposure to other interesting items – and not just the top 4 or so. So now, there is a bit more spice to the top page.

So mintd gets bloggy!
We’ve been crazy busy working on the website, and we’re so happy with the response we’ve had! Just take a look at our seller’s products and see how much cool stuff they are putting up into their stores.
Right now we’re really digging caylies La Ave linen+blue clutch. How cool is that?
We hope this blog becomes the place where we can talk with you (minties). Expect to see posts about new functionality, up-coming events and other excitement.
