If everyone here started to promote their Mintd shop in one new way every day starting now, we might just have a killer holiday season this year! Wouldn’t that be great?

Admins: is Mintd ready and capable of handling large surges of traffic?

Do you have your Mintd shop on your business cards and other promotional items?

What if, everyone submitted a press release to their local papers?

Other ideas?

We’re looking and feeling very stable now! Last few days have seen lots more traffic and sales and has been smooth sailing :-)

This is an excellent thread Twisted! I think if we all did a little bit of promoting it would go a long way.

I have brand new shiny business cards with my mintd shop address on them. I have been giving them out like nobody’s business! I have also been “announcing” my store and products like crazy as well. So maybe a few of those people will come to mintd, have a look around and decide they are in love and tell a few of their friends, etc.

If you know peole who also make amazing stuff, why not tell them about mintd as well. The more people that are on mintd, the more people they tell, the more people end up knowing about mintd, so on and so forth!

However, of course Mintd community members themselves promoting the site and their own shops (or their favourites) is hugely important – and to be very much encouraged!

One big thing that all of us can do to help is to simply list more items as a starting point. If you’re not up to your maximum yet, then do your best to get there. The more items in your shop, the more attractive it will be to a potential buyer. Plus the more items there are in Mintd generally, the better off all of us will be.

Sounds a great idea. I have recently had new business cards printed with Mintd on it…..But I like your mention Twisted, of press releases….but I’m not sure what you would include in that. Any further ideas anyone or examples you would be willing to share???? Thanks
