Once upon a time, in a forum far far away, there was a group of friends who liked to chat in the forums. They had so much in common that was uncommon – like worshipping SlappertartgumtreeGod from ” Down under ” ;>)

It became a tradition to meet at all hours with friends from all corners of the galaxy and share their wit and daily grind … a charter developed.

THREAD CHARTER

Please note: The Thread contains mature topics (this does not mean that the participants are mature, by any means). We like to have fun; ergo, prudes and purdes will likely be offended. The Thread is not for you if you are under 18 or do not appreciate lovingly aimed sarcasm – a.k.a. snarky remarks.

The Rules:

1) Love The Thread by not letting any actual meanness sneak in.

2) Don’t defend The Thread. Some people will get it; others won’t. Defending The Thread is no-win.

3) Enjoy The Thread by freely snarking each other, pretend carp, actual carp, chockers, phlegm, jazzhands, FAQ blindness, drama, nicknames, meat & two veg, official titles, johnny on the spots, the inexplicable lack of ability to Google, treasury obsessive disorder, weeping over missing hearts, excessive use of exclamation points, site weirdness, the Thread Curse, hatahs, sock puppets, thread bumping, promo spam, and major and minor events of all kinds. :^D

We help keep each others’ heads from exploding by minimizing our exposure to the insanity in the rest of the fora. Feel free to join in and snark when needed. That’s what The Thread is here for.

The Thread is not a normal thread. Please be prepared with anything you may need to survive a snark attack, join a snark party, or engage in one-on-one snarking. :P Check Vintage for snark spray if needed.

We are pals and you can be our pal too. Capiche? The more pals, the longer lines for the bathroom, but that’s ok.

Also prepare for your Thread nickname – you will have no control over what it may be or any variations which are to follow, or anything else, for that matter. It can be spelled in any variation possible as well.

Beware the lolcatz speak..it is rampant and cannot be stopped. WE R IN YR FORUMZ … STEALIN’ YR PROMOS!
