About me:

I have been a textile artist for about 10 years. I love to play and create from fabrics and materials, new and recycled. I hope you like my work as each piece is unique and a one of a kind.
I am very lucky as I work in a patchwork shop where I can play in all the new fabrics. My sewing machine is one of my best friends and I just love to be creative with it and try very hard to express myself through this medium.Anything from scraps of fabric, thread, paper, wrappers from chocolates and the various stabilizers I use as my pallete. Oil sticks and paint usually add the final touches to bring in the light. My “Skart” scarves I create using some of the finest and best yarns available to me.

Music I like: Pavlov's Dog, Fleetwood Mac, Tina Arena, DC Talk, Bryan Adams and heaps more.

Films/TV I like: Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Forrest Gump, Armageddon, anything with Sean Connery, Brad Pitt or George Clooney. I just love Grand Designs on the ABC.

Books I like: James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Daniel Eastmen, Matthew Reilly, some of Wilbur Smith and anything with a good story line.
