About me:

I have always been crafty, but never settled on a hobby until I got my hands on a bucket of vintage beads! I draw so much inspiration from old discarded pieces of jewelry, a beautiful shell on the beach, or a funky found object like an old key! Making jewelry fits into my life so well: I can bead while doing homework with my son or watching a movie with my husband. I also believe that we can be well accessorized while being kind to the environment. Reworking a piece you already have (or a thrift/antique store find) can be just as fresh and unique as buying something new! Sometimes I can only obtain vintage beads, etc. in large quantities, so I’ll divide them up and sell them as well. When I decided to open a shop, my husband wanted to know my motto. My answer: great accessories following the reduce, reuse, recycle concept. Hence the 3 r’s.

Music I like: I usually like individual songs rather than a particular artists but I always have James Morrison (I LOVE his music!) and Duffy in my CD player!

Films/TV I like: I'm not super risque, but I love Showtime shows, especially Weeds and Dexter. I miss Veronica Mars and the Gilmore Girls.

Books I like: Patricia Cornwell; any great parenting book (my son has ADHD and can be REALLY tough, so I take all the advice I can get); when I'm in a book slump James Patterson is always a safe bet; Carl Hiassen
