I am Female, I live in Sydney, Australia.
I have been a mintizen for about 1 year.
I’m a jewellery artist and designer who is based in Sydney, Australia. I’ve been creating unique handmade jewellery for around 15 years, including undertaking several years of full time visual arts study with jewellery and metal as my major.
I love making items which really do look handmade and which also let me play with materials, techniques, pattern, colour and ideas. My current obsessions include highly detailed saw piercing work, pattern and ornament, sentimentality and the way that different cultures look at nature.
What Interests Me:
Jewellery making and jewellery as an artform. Art history, theory – and actual art. Contemporary craft and indie design. Reading excellent fiction! Online communities and the web in general. Web design (with a passion for web standards!). Ethics. Travelling to nifty places.
