About me:

I am a self taught artist and illustrator. I was raised by a Culture Vulture father who instilled in me an appreciation of music, movies, literature and art. My art reflects my love of Pop Culture, particularly cultural icons. I have worked with acrylics mostly, but now am in love with mixing different materials to capture the perfect ‘mood’. I have been mixing my original paintings with everything from fabric, paper, wood, sequins, beads and sewing notions..and am always looking for something to catch my eye that will be perfect for my next portrait. I work from a candy pink studio that is often visited by my daughter Ellen, a great helper in the studio and my husband Ben, whose encouragement has made me more passionate about my art than ever before. Looking forward to being inspired by other Mintd sellers!
