Une Petite Etoile {one little star} is an independent design company that treasures handmade creations, an anomaly in this world of mass production.

We believe that the most luxurious items are those fashioned with care, by hand, using fine materials and traditional methods.

We do our very best to avoid any form of sweatshop production, and as a result do not use many popular ‘all-American’ brands such as Carters and Gerber. We actively support small, ethical businesses as well as larger companies with outstanding labor practices (i.e. American Apparel). If treating people fairly means smaller profit margins, so be it – humanity trumps greed in our world.

Founded by a refugee from the corporate world and her hunky Scottish husband, our baby and children’s collections were conceived as a means of providing modern parents with hip alternatives to the universe of duckies and bunnies.

We design a mélange of different items, all made by hand with premium materials and designed for a modern, quality-conscious consumer.

We only use the highest quality designer fabrics in our creations.
Our snap closures are professional series resin or stainless snaps, applied with an industrial-strength snap press.

Our bibs, burp cloths, bedding sets and quilted items are lined with pure, American-made organic cotton batting. No polyester, and no sweatshops.

All packages are shipped either First Class (U.S. under 13 ounces) or Priority Mail.

Shipping is not a profit center; we weigh each piece and charge accordingly.

Published rates include Delivery Confirmation to U.S. addresses as well as International locations as determined by the USPS.

Insurance is optional and must be paid by the buyer. Once shipment confirmation is provided by the USPS we cannot be held responsible for the package.

Expedited shipping services are available upon request.

Please be advised that customs duties imposed on international shipments are the responsibility of the buyer.

We do not drop-ship wholesale orders and our products are not available on a consignment basis. Please understand that we are committed to protecting the vitality of the independent boutique owner – as well as our wonderful private client base.

••• WARRANTY •••

Should your Une Petite Etoile purchase become damaged for any reason during the first three (3) months following the date of purchase, you may return the item for repair. This includes issues related to the construction of the item (i.e., seams, top-stitching, snaps) and excludes stains and tears in the fabric as a result of improper care. Please note that the return postage will be paid by Une Petite Etoile.

We have great confidence in the quality of our merchandise and want you to feel confident about purchasing our designs.

All items are wrapped in fine boutique tissue paper and grosgrain ribbon.

The design studio is a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

All sales are final, unless a production issue arises. In this instance, buyers should contact us within two (2) business days to review. Returns are not available for custom orders.
