About me:

Renee was self-taught at an early age; by the age of 5 she was making and repairing her mother’s and her jewellery. At the age of 10 she was even making some pieces for sale in a local store and then later on, Vija, part owner of a jewellery business called Jewel Mine, taught her the finer points. She still strives to learn more by reading books, experimenting with new techniques.

She loves to create using many different elements, some of her favorites include: sterling silver, 14k gold filled, freshwater pearls, wood, fibre, vintage beads, stones, Swarovski crystals. She also loves spending her time on sculpting and painting her own ceramic beads and pendants.

Her standards for quality and meticulous attention to detail make sure that she would only make jewellery that she loves and would wear herself.

Renee gets so much joy out of designing and making jewellery, and she does this all in a cute little town in Western Australia.
