SPRING INSIDE birdie cage

Little magic bird caught His own little bit of early Spring and put it inside this coquette cage. This 4’X1" wire cage is completely handmade, I made the form and the added small pieces of beautiful stained glass around enough to shyly cover the beautiful paper rose inside it. I also added some old beads and austrian glass ones, the little bird on top has a long feathery tail to attract sun rays .It has an uneven , rudimentary feel to it that allows stiff materials to be flexible in a shapeless shape.
Birdie is the keeper of the rose, put it in a bright corner in your room and see how as the day goes on light will play over the cage as a sweet smile. enjoy!!
