five petal flowers necklace on silk

These simple five petal flowers have been sawn from sterling silver sheet and then domed to give them a more organic shape.

The flowers have been hung from roughly hammer-beaten sterling silver pins to form stems. They have been given a sanded finish before being tumbled to make them bright and shiny.

The necklace features three flowers suspended from lovely rich purple natural silk thread, with the centre flower being larger than the other two.

The largest flower is approximately 1.5cm (0.6") in diameter and 2.7cm (1") long, while the smaller two are approximately 1.1cm (0.4") in diameter and 2.2cm (0.9").

The silk necklace is approximately 43cm (17") long. I can generally change the colour and length of the thread if required – just contact me to ask.
