Wings from a real cicada were pressed into sterling silver sheet, leaving each detail & line permanently impressed into the metal. They were oxidized & brushed to highlight the texture, then soldered to a sterling silver chain. The necklace finishes with a handmade hook & eye clasp & is signed on a little tag at the end. All sterling silver. It measures about 20” long (roughly 60cm)
the wings span 3.75” across (9.5cm)
