Lucky Leprechaun Door

Looking for a pot of gold? Stop chasing rainbows! Install one of my Lucky Leprechaun doors in your yard or garden – or even inside your home – and let the little buggers come to you!

My fairy doors can be installed indoors or out and provide a portal to comfort and security for the Wee Ones around your home or apartment. Simply lean them against a tree or rock, place them on a bookshelf, hang them on a wall or set them against a baseboard and – Voila! – you have an instant Wee home.

Each door is handmade from solid knotty pine, hand-painted and stained, then coated with a clear semi-gloss lacquer to protect it from the elements. The hinges are hand-cut from copper sheeting which I then distress and paint to match the antiqued brass handles. The door and frame are separate pieces, but please note that the DOOR DOES NOT OPEN! This doesn’t bother the Wee one bit since they use magic to come and go.

I should also note that each door is signed and dated on the back by yours truly.

This particular door – the “Lucky Leprechaun” – features a four leaf clover handcut from copper, then painted and distressed to match the handle and hinges. The “roof” and door are painted with a wash of Hunter Green and then the entire piece is stained with dark walnut and given a generous coat of semi-gloss lacquer.

Dimensions are 6”W x 6.5”H x 0.75” thick
