I grew up in the business world. My parents own a fashion boutique that opened in 1989. In 1991 my mom added fragrances to the line, and I was introduced to the world of smelling like pretty much any and everything. I even smelled better than my teachers! By the time I was 14 I could recognize any fragrance just by getting a whiff. I knew what people were wearing by passing them in the mall. But like many kids with parents who owned business, I did not see this as a great thing. In fact, I dislike having to be at my parents business with a passion. And I vowed never ever ever to own my own business.

Ha! Who was I kidding! After going to college and studying Biology and Chemistry, I found I loved learning how things worked, how the world evolved, and how you could take a few simple things in turn them into something spectacular. My first experience was making my first batch of soap from scratch! I watched in awe as my mix of oil and water and lye slowly solidified and actually bubbled the next morning when I cut it and tested it! How with a lot of research and a lot patience, you can learn just about anything, and probably make it too.

My mom was shocked when I announced that I would be starting my own company 5 odd years ago. My dad gave me his usual “I told you so” and here I am today, ZAJA Natural.

My products are created from scratch using my hands, my brains, and my ability to combine and create. I only use my own recipes, and my products are 100% vegan. I offer many fragrances, usually focusing on rare, high end, and exquisite blends. You are going to enjoy my selection! Please save me as a favorite and check back for more additions.
