The Arctic swift is the poster child of long-distance migration. Here’s one circumnavigating a vintage silvertone globe charm in a limited edition.
I believe the silvertone metal to be aluminum – it is very lightweight.
A wonderful vintage globe, which spins on a brass axis is given a new lease on life with 18 in. unplated brass chain and a brass bird (bird may face either direction)
closes with an unplated brass push-clasp.

16 inches of brass chain hold a genuine rose-cut garnet rondell and a tiny genuine button pearl. An vintage deep red aluminum rose sits to the other side – the centerpiece is a beautiful, aged wishbone charm in a coppery shade of brass.

Vintage birthday card clippings from a 1950�s card form this conceptually matched pair – a squirrel giver or flowers and a surprised bear. Both come from the same multi-page 4th birthday card, and are not reproductions. It is exceptionally unlikely that I’ll be able to remake this item, as it would require I find the same vintage card.

"Dear" vintage paper clipping pendant - 40's swallow

Actual 1940’s clipping from a greeting card is set into a hand-hammered brass setting under an acrylic protective lens. A small blue swallow with a message in its beak – this one reads “dear.” What an ideal little sentimental gift!
Attached to a brass pendant, on a 16 inch brass chain with brass spring-ring closure. Sublimely sweet image has a 25mm diameter.
Submersion in water of this paper-based image is not tested nor recommended – other than that, the image is protected, free of non-archival goop and firmly set.
