Vintage German fabric with mushrooms and a little red riding hood (who is printed upside down for some reason on this fabric!!) is the starting point of this bag. From there I just added bits and pieces of what would fit on the bag.
But I think it all came together nicely.
I pride myself on using recycled or vintage in each item I offer.
This bag is 98% recycled and vintage fabrics.
Just for fun here is what is in this one of a kind bag:
The Cream eyelet is from a pair of curtains that hung in my mom’s house for years.
The Brown gingham is vintage bed linens.
The Cream mushroom fabric from an outfit I wore in 1975.
The Red polka dot is from my banking days in the 80’s
The Beige with embroidery thrifted pants – recycled.
The Brown exterior and straps thrifted dress – recycled.
Meausurements are
13 inches across
10 inches down
21 inche strap
opens 8 inches wide.

You are guaranteed to have the vintage german fabric AND some other FABulous recycled and/or vintage fabrics! I choose the quilting patterns and other embellishments at the time of construction.
